Job summary

Asia Insurance in Hong Kong leads the market with a modern core life insurance platform. We seek an AI Engineering Manager to guide AI-powered automation, governance, and secure delivery across policy onboarding, administration, servicing, premiums, claims and reporting.

You will drive technical direction, manage an engineering team, and collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into scalable technology delivering reliable customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership experience and ability to develop teams.
• Strong system-design and architecture capability.
• Hands-on AI engineering experience with LLMs, tools and workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team and develop software development culture.
• Own the engineering roadmap and ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives.
• Lead core insurance‑platform development across onboarding, administration, servicing, premiums and claims.
• Oversee AI solution development and agent workflows with guardrails and human review.
• Set architecture standards and ensure security, maintainability and production readiness.
• Manage end-to-end delivery from requirements to production and continuous improvement.
• Drive data integration and migration with legacy systems and external APIs.
• Establish governance for AI development, testing, monitoring and escalation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology.
