Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a highly organized Fleet Manager in Hong Kong to oversee the operation and maintenance of a large vehicle fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries across the network.

You will lead strategic plans for fleet acquisition and disposal, manage vehicle lifecycle, and enforce preventative maintenance. The role requires 5+ years in fleet management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency with fleet software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management (5+ years) within a large-scale operation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with fleet management software and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fleet plans for acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Manage lifecycle of all fleet vehicles: procurement, registration, insurance, scheduling, and tracking.
• Establish preventative maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and driver performance; drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry regulations and safety standards.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers for vehicles, parts, maintenance, and fuel.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of fleet drivers and staff.
• Utilize fleet management software and GPS to optimize routes and generate reports.
• Prepare and manage the fleet budget; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement safety protocols and training for drivers to minimize accidents.
