Job summary

Apple is seeking a Development Manager to lead execution of NSOs, refreshes, and critical MEP replacement projects from concept to close out across Apple facilities in Hong Kong. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality retail and workplace environments.

Role requires 7+ years in construction/project management, strong leadership, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction/project management focused on retail stores or workplaces.
• Experience with large developments such as expansions or campuses.
• Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and executing technical services.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to meet deadlines.
• Ability to balance operational risk with value and quality considerations.
• Strong leadership and communication across all levels.
• Ability to develop cost estimates, cash flows, schedules, and TCO analyses.
• Experience building relationships with facilities operation teams, utilities, and general contractors.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects with best-practice processes and systems for efficient operations.
• Direct project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and turnover to facilities.
• Drive operational excellence through cross-functional feedback across teams.
• Assist with project Proforma, budget and schedule at key stages.
• Sign off external partners and contracts (design consultants, vendors, contractors).
• Review lease terms and obtain landlord approvals.
• Engage with government bodies and works councils.
• Manage commissioning agents and sequence of operations.
• Oversee closeout, warranties, defects and turnover to facilities team.
• Engage general contractors and vendors including bidding and SOWs.
• Review proposals and change orders; prepare comparative analyses.
• Travel minimum 50%.
