Job summary

A large Engineering Group is seeking a Head of International Projects, Commercial to lead overseas expansion, focusing on water treatment plant projects and joint ventures with local partners. You will drive bidding, resource planning and project delivery, taking ownership of profitability for overseas programs.

The role requires a 15+ year track record in E&M contracting or consultancy, with strong leadership, bilingual English/Chinese skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in E&M contracting or consultancy.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong track record in international business development and project delivery.
• Solid commercial experience in JV formation and partnership management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source overseas opportunities in water treatment and E&M projects via JVs.
• Lead bids and proposals for water treatment plant projects; coordinate internal and external teams to develop winning strategies.
• Plan and allocate resources for overseas projects and JVs; oversee E&M consultancy to meet contract requirements.
• Conduct cost control, variation management and financial forecasting; mitigate commercial risks.
