Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution Marketing Communications to craft clear, consistent distributor and customer messaging across channels. You will align launches, updates, and campaigns with brand goals and customer experience.

You will lead messaging frameworks, manage cross‑functional partners across marketing, product, operations, legal & compliance, and digital teams, and translate complex concepts into engaging, compliant content.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in marketing or related field.
7+ years experience in Financial Services industry, preferred in life insurance; Asia/Middle East experience preferred.
5+ years experience in communications, focusing on customer/distributor communications, product marketing, and sales enablement.
Strong writing, messaging, and communications planning skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear messaging and tailor to audiences.
Experience in a global, matrix organization with multiple time zones.
Superior written and verbal communication skills in English; strong analytical skills.
Proficiency with content workflows and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a distributor and customer communications strategy aligned with brand, customer experience, and business goals.
Define communication frameworks, tone of voice, and messaging standards for distributor and customer-facing content.
Ensure consistency across all communications, including digital, email, letters, website, and in-product messaging.
Create, review, and oversee distributor-facing communications such as service updates, campaigns, FAQs, onboarding materials, and lifecycle communications.
Translate complex information into clear, concise, customer-friendly language.
Manage end-to-end communication planning from briefing to deployment using marketing automation platforms.
Manage the Distributor Website (DWS) content and coordinate with the tech team on enhancements.
Support marketing campaigns, product launches, collaterals, and distribution enablement tools.
Identify communication gaps and propose improvements; ensure clarity and conciseness.
Collaborate with marketing, brand, digital, product, distribution, legal, and compliance teams.
Act as central point of contact for distributor and customer communications requests.
Manage stakeholders and balance multiple workstreams.
Ensure communications meet brand, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Maintain approval processes and audit-ready documentation.
Monitor quality and accuracy of communications and refine standards.
Track effectiveness using feedback and metrics; optimize messaging.
Use insights to improve channels and timing.
