Job summary

St. James’ Settlement is seeking a Service Development Officer (SJS-PO II) on a contract basis for Continuing Care in Fo Tan, Hong Kong. The role focuses on developing Gerontech services, planning promotional campaigns, and coordinating rental and support for elderly clients and their carers.

The successful candidate will conduct home visits, install and train users on equipment, and manage rental service logistics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand accessibility and reach.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma holder is required.
• HKDSE 5 subjects level 2 or above (including Chinese and English) or equivalent.
• Occupational Therapy Assistant course is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify new Gerontech Service opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to raise awareness of Gerontech education and rental service.
• Provide assessments and arrange the rental and usage of Gerontech equipment for the elderly living at home and their carers.
• Conduct home visits, install equipment, provide training, and perform regular follow-ups.
• Rental service case management including scheduling assessments, rental payments, deliveries, installations, cleaning and maintenance.
