Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society is seeking a Team Leader for the New Projects Team to drive planning and development of elderly housing and care-related initiatives such as The Tanner Hill, SCRS and RCHEs. You will partner with operators, consultants and government authorities to translate needs into project solutions.

The role emphasizes Ageing-in-Place, accessibility and elderly-friendly design, with oversight of renovation, procurement, contract administration and project delivery to meet safety

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• HKIE membership preferred; RPE qualification advantageous.
• 8–10 years in building services, facilities management or capital works.
• Experience in renovation, upgrading, maintenance, contract administration, tendering and procurement.
• Experience in elderly care, healthcare, residential care facilities or community development is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of building services systems, statutory requirements and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Team Leader of the New Projects Team for planning and development of elderly housing and SEW projects.
• Collaborate with internal users, operators, consultants and authorities to translate requirements into solutions.
• Promote Ageing-in-Place, IG designs, accessibility and elderly-friendly design in planning and implementation.
• Manage renovation, upgrading and capital works for SEW facilities.
• Oversee full lifecycle of renovation works including tendering, procurement, contract administration, implementation and handover.
