Job summary

OKX is a leading crypto exchange developing OKX Wallet and other products for global users. This role focuses on growing a high-impact affiliate programme, partnerships and VIP services to drive revenue while navigating regulatory frameworks with regulators in the region.

The position requires 10+ years in leadership within crypto or fintech, strong governance collaboration, and an ability to execute strategies with measurable KPIs across markets. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience at a top-tier crypto exchange, fintech, or trading platform.
• Proven experiences of government relations and liaison with regulators in the region, including licensing, supervision reporting, and compliance matters.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT, data protection and VASP-related laws and regulations.
• Fluent in Southeast Asian languages and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience working with regulators and leading licensing applications or acquisitions.
• Proven ability to drive multi-million dollar monthly revenue growth via BD and affiliate acquisition strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing

Contribute to global revenue targets, affiliate partnerships and VIP services.

Build and scale a high-performing global affiliate programme that consistently produces strong ROI.

Drive business strategies, partnerships, and campaigns to outgrow competitors.

Drive digital asset initiatives, exploring new products and services to expand the company's offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.

Execution & Performance

Translate strategy into an executable plan with measurable KPIs and deliverables.

Continuously optimize affiliate campaigns, user conversion funnels, and VIP retention programs to maximize revenue impact.

Monitor market trends and competitor moves to identify opportunities and threats.

Develop market-specific product ideas and ensure timely launches in collaboration with global teams.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

Partner with legal, compliance, and risk to ensure governance and operational integrity, consider potential licensing strategies, and facilitate regulatory liaisons.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences, build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and clients; and

Build strong relationships with affiliates, VIPs, and ecosystem partners to deepen OKX’s position as top 5 exchanges. Spearhead campaigns to strengthen brand presence and loyalty.

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-impact commercial team focused on affiliate management, BD growth, and VIP servicing.

Build a performance-driven culture that consistently exceeds targets.

What We Look For In You:

10+ years of leadership experience at a top-tier crypto exchange, fintech, or trading platform

Proven experiences of government relations and liaison with regulators in the region, including but not limited to licensing, supervisory reporting, and compliance matters.

Familiarity with related regulatory frameworks such as anti-money laundering (AML/CFT), data protection and VASP-related laws and regulations.

Fluent in Southeast Asian languages and English. Mandarin is an advantage.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills with external stakeholders

Hands-on experience working with regulators and leading licensing applications or acquisitions

Proven ability to operate in heavily regulated and competitive environments while driving growth.

Demonstrated ability to deliver multi-million dollar monthly revenue growth through BD and affiliate acquisition strategies.

Experience owning P&L, setting market KPIs, and exceeding aggressive growth targets.

Willingness to travel as needed.
