Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead the Motor business in Hong Kong. You will develop and implement sales strategies, oversee commercial operations, and drive growth across channels.

Candidates should have a degree in Business Administration or Marketing, 15+ years in sales/marketing in the motor industry, and at least 10 years in leadership roles, with experience in both MNCs and startups.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant degree.
• Have over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the motor industry with at least 10 years in a leadership/management role.
• Have prior experience in a leadership role working in both MNC and start-ups.
• Possess excellent leadership, presentation, and project management skills.
• Have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, strategic mindset, and ability to build a business plan from scratch.
• Possess strong numerical sense and analytical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have high proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
• Oversee the commercial business and daily operations
• Maintain trade marketing funds within the agreed budget or percentage of Net Sales Value, and proactively assess the impact of all key promotions pre, during, and post-promotion
• Determine the value generated and report on a monthly basis, and identify alternative value options to reduce overall trade marketing costs as a percentage of sales
• Recommend and develop market strategies with marketing colleagues in conjunction with direct line supervisors to support the achievement of sales, distribution, and merchandising objectives
• Create new business through business opportunities and will report to the CEO
