Zusammenfassung

SinoPac Securities (Asia) Limited is seeking a Settlement Officer to manage daily settlement operations for Hong Kong futures, options and securities as well as overseas products. You will pre‑match settlement instructions, perform daily bookings and reconcile processes while updating SOPs and control records.

Candidate should have 2–5 years of settlement experience, be proficient in Excel and Word, and comfortable using AI tools for data processing.

Qualifikationen

• College degree or above
• 2–5 years settlement experience in financial industry
• Solid hands‑on experience in both futures and equities settlement for Hong Kong market
• Familiar with listed derivatives (Futures, Options) operations; solid DCASS experience
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, PivotTable, data conversion) and MS Word; experience using AI tools for document/data processing preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Immediate availability preferred
• Can accept flexible working hours and holiday support
• Meticulous, strong risk awareness and numerical sensitivity; able to cope with peak settlement cycles and ad‑hoc delivery matters
• Willing to learn and progress; patient, detail‑minded, proactive and good teamwork spirit
• Commit to deliver excellent operation service within the company
• Knowledge of HKCC and SEOCH clearing rules is an advantage

Aufgaben

• Perform daily settlement operation for futures, options and securities in Hong Kong and overseas markets
• Ensure all trading processing (including DCASS settlement) is completed accurately
• Perform pre‑matching of settlement instructions and daily booking/settlement
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operation manuals and exceptional delivery records
• Conduct Excel data processing, file conversion and report preparation; leverage AI tools for automation
• Liaise with front office, brokers, IT, custodians and other stakeholders to resolve trade exceptions
• Prepare daily reconciliation reports for supervisor
• Complete daily trade documents filing
• Assist in system modification and UAT testing
• Support back‑up coverage and knowledge handover
