Central Wealth Securities Investment Limited seeks a Settlement Manager (Operations) to oversee daily securities settlement, corporate actions, IPOs, and related activities. You will manage a diverse portfolio including Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives, and ensure regulatory compliance with SFC/HKMA rules.
The role requires at least 5 years in settlement management at a brokerage or top-tier financial institution, with strong CCASS/CMU/EUROCLEAR/CLEARSTREAM and SWIFT experience.
Oversee daily operations: securities settlement, corporate actions, IPOs, placings, share repurchases, securities lending, and client fund transfers.
Lead settlement operations for a diverse portfolio, including Stock Option, Fixed Income, OTC Derivatives.
Oversee Bond Connect, CIBM, and international bond settlements. Manage the lifecycle of OTC derivatives, including Trade Affiliation, ISDA/NAFMII compliance documentation, and Collateral Management/ Margining.
Ensure adherence to the SFC's Client Money Rules and Securities and Futures (Keeping of Records) Rules. Also SFC and HKMA guidelines and internal policies, particularly regarding Client Money Rules and AML/KYC protocols.
Drive UAT for system migrations and automate manual workflows to improve STP rates.
Lead and train the settlement team, serving as a key liaison for the Front Office, IT, legal/compliance, and external vendors or regulators.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant working experiences in settlement management and operation
Proven track record in performing good managementin aBrokerageor a top-tier financial institution.
Strong understanding of Fixed Income (e.g., Dim Sum Bonds, LGFVs), HKEX products and settlement systems.
Well familiarity with OTC Derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Total Return Swaps, etc.).
Proficient in CCASS, CMU, Euroclear, and Clearstream and SWIFT(MT/MX)
Understanding of theNorthbound/Southbound Trading Linkmechanics.
Strong "Can-do" attitude with the ability to navigate the corporate culture of Chinese-funded firms;
Fluent inMandarinand English is required.
