Job summary

Greatpage Capital Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Associate in Fund Operations to oversee daily fund accounting, NAV oversight, and trade settlements across Cayman SPCs, HK LPFs, and segregated accounts. You will verify data from external admins and manage lifecycle events with PMS systems.

The role requires 3–5+ years in fund operations, strong Excel, and English/Mandarin fluency. Hybrid work from our Central/Hong Kong office with flexible WFH options is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline
• 3–5 years or more of solid hands-on experience in Fund Operations or Fund Accounting
• Experience at buy-side asset management firms, third-party fund administrators, custodian banks or Big Four accounting firms
• Deep practical knowledge of fund accounting, proficient in full NAV calculation logic and reconciliation processes
• Good understanding of various fund structures (Cayman Funds, LPF) and financial products
• Deep understanding of compliance and internal control requirements across fund operations, familiar with HK SFC FMCC standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, complex formula modelling)
• Experience with portfolio management systems (PMS)
• VBA or Python programming skills for process automation is a strong advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
• Meticulous work style with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy under tight timelines
• Self-motivated and proactive problem-solving mindset with strong teamwork orientation

Responsibilities

• Execute daily fund accounting and independent reconciliation for all fund products, calculating, verifying and reconciling fund NAVs (Shadow NAV), investment P&L and position valuations
• Perform independent review and cross-verification of data provided by external fund administrators
• Verify fund accrued expenses, management fees, performance fees, TER and corporate actions to ensure accurate accounting and NAV
• Process trade entries, confirmations, clearance and settlement for various financial instruments via PMS
• Execute daily reconciliations of internal records with prime brokers, custodians and trustees; identify and resolve reconciliation breaks
• Monitor daily fund movements, prepare cash flow forecasts and manage daily liquidity
• Support new fund product establishment and account opening for trading and custody accounts
• Handle investor onboarding including KYC, AML reviews, CDD/EDD and sanctions screening
• Serve as primary liaison with external institutions including fund admins, custodians, prime brokers, auditors and vendors
• Support audits and regulatory reporting materials including SFC filings, FMCC, FATCA/CRS and investor statements
