Job summary

CW Talent Solutions partners with a premier hedge fund in Hong Kong to build an on-site application support function. The role is hands-on and high-impact, owning end-to-end support for front-office trading systems and operations platforms.

You will shape the operating model, SLAs, and incident response while mentoring a growing team. Based in central Hong Kong, you will collaborate with traders, operations, and engineering to diagnose issues, automate routines, and reduce toil and risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in application support within a trading environment.
• Deep familiarity with trade lifecycles, products and risk mechanics.
• Proven track record establishing and maintaining SLAs and escalation discipline.
• Experience building monitoring, alerting and automation to reduce toil.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end support for front-office and operations applications including incidents and resolutions.
• Define and enforce operating model, logging standards, SLAs, and escalation paths.
• Understand trade lifecycle, risk flows, and booking mechanics; communicate this to traders and engineers.
• Investigate complex issues using SQL, logs, and code review to find root causes.
• Build monitoring and observability to surface issues early and enable proactive support.
• Automate routine diagnostics and operational tasks to improve MTTR.
