Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager Flight Crew Payroll & Projects for a 19-month contract in Hong Kong. You will oversee end-to-end payroll cycles for flight crew, ensure accuracy, and liaise with GBS, IT, People and Finance to implement policy and system changes.

The role requires a university degree, at least 3 years in payroll, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to handle data, audits and budgeting support.

Formación

• University degree or higher diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Experience in payroll operations, payroll administration, or a closely related function.
• Experience in aviation or large-scale operational environment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, pay rules, tax and statutory deductions, and compliance requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong data handling and reconciliation skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight payroll deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams including GBS, IT, Finance and People.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Execute end-to-end flight crew payroll cycle with data preparation, input validation, and reconciliation.
• Perform detailed quality assurance checks and audit trails for payroll runs.
• Maintain payroll reference data, pay rules and calculation logic.
• Manage payroll adjustments, arrears, ad-hoc payments and corrections with proper documentation.
• Respond to payroll-related queries from pilots, GBS, People and Finance.
