AISL Harrow Schools, part of Asia International School Limited, seeks a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, reporting, and governance with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled analytics. The role collaborates with multiple departments and external auditors to ensure accurate financial data and compliant reporting.

The candidate should have IFRS knowledge, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with ERP tools like MS Dynamics 365, Power BI, and data analytics platforms.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines.
• Qualified accountant is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial planning and management reporting, preferably from multinational corporations or reputable CPA firms.
• Experience with AI-enabled reporting tools, data analytics or BI platforms is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled reporting tools and BI platforms such as Power BI is advantageous.

Job Purpose

The job purpose is to support financial planning and budgeting, prepare financial and management reporting to aid decision-making, ensure governance and compliance with regulatory requirements, system implementation and collaborate with other departments and AISL Harrow Schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial information which supports business decisions

Financial Planning and Budgeting of Headquarters

• Prepare and Support the financial planning and budgeting of Headquarters

Financial and Management Reporting to support decision making

• Prepare and submit various monthly/termly/semi-annual/annual reports for management review of various business lines on a timely basis
• Prepare and submit the monthly consolidated financial and management reports in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards, company’s internal control and financial policies on a timely basis
• Perform financial analysis on business performance

Ensure Governance and Compliance with regulatory requirements

• Assist with external statutory audits

System

• Maintain, implement and enhance effective ERP systems and Data Analytics platform
• To liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as staff members at AISL Harrow Schools and companies of the Group, and auditors
• Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines
• Qualified accountant is an advantage
• 1-2 years of experience in financial planning and management reporting, preferably gained from multinational corporations or reputable CPA firms
• Experience in applying AI tools, data analytics, business intelligence or automation techniques in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting or variance analysis would be an advantage
• Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
• Knowledge of AI-enabled reporting tools, data analytics platforms and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot or similar applications, would be an advantage
• Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality and proper governance when using AI tools and financial data
• Well organized, detail-oriented, responsible with good analytical skills
• Proven organizational skills, ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
• Proficient computer literacy, especially in EXCEL; knowledge in ERP system, like MS Dynamics 365, is an advantage
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools to automate report preparation, identify trends, summarise financial data and support management decision-making
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability and alignment with financial records
• Experience in designing dashboards, structured reporting templates and clear management reports would be an advantage
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good teamwork
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Financial Analyst
