Job summary

ConnectedSolutions is seeking a Finance SME to support a key transformation programme focused on financial reporting, IFRS17, and related finance processes. The role requires deep subject matter expertise and the ability to align regulatory requirements with delivered solutions.

The successful candidate will work across Finance, Technology and project stakeholders, ensuring accurate reporting outputs and governance. Fluent English is required; Cantonese is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial reporting; IFRS preferred.
• Insurance industry experience required; other financial services considered.
• Experience supporting finance change, transformation, or system implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Cantonese is a plus.

About the Role

Partnering with a Leading Insurance Organization, we are seeking a Finance SME to support a key transformation programme (1-Year Contract, Extend/Perm). This role will provide subject matter expertise across financial reporting, IFRS, and finance processes, ensuring business and regulatory requirements are accurately reflected in delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SME for financial reporting, IFRS, and finance-related processes.
• Provide guidance on reporting requirements, accounting rules, and regulatory impacts.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation from a finance perspective.
• Review reporting outputs and ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and project stakeholders throughout the programme.

Requirements

• Strong experience in financial reporting; Good to have IFRS, and finance operations.
• Insurance industry experience is a must; broader Financial Services experience will also be considered.
• Experience supporting finance change, transformation, or system implementation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English required; Cantonese is an advantage.
