Horizon Construction Overseas (Hongkong) Limited is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance and group consolidation in Hong Kong. You will ensure HKEX compliance and strengthen internal controls.
The role partners with business units on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cross‑border finance, including M&A due diligence, taxation, and finance transformation initiatives to drive growth.
Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance: Oversee internal control and compliance; managing group consolidation, statutory reporting, and ensuring compliance with HKEX Listing Rules for listed companies and continuously enhance a robust internal control framework and risk management policies.
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Provide in-depth finance support for Hong Kong business expansion, including budgeting and rolling forecasts, financial due diligence, valuation modelling and post-integration for cross-border M&A transactions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management: Act as finance business partner (BP) embedded within business teams, deliver business performance analysis, pricing and profitability modelling, KPI monitoring and multi-scenario decision models to drive business growth.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage the cross-border cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, safeguard liquidity position and identify key risks including credit, compliance and geopolitical risks.
Tax Strategy & Compliance: Direct group tax planning and ensure full compliance with Hong Kong tax regulations, including the preparation of profits tax filings. Serve as the primary contact for external tax advisors
Driving Finance Transformation: Lead finance transformation initiatives, which can include process standardization, simplification, automation, and digitization.
Professional Accounting Qualification: Bachelor's degree holder in finance, accounting or relevant discipline with professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, etc.).
Extensive Senior-Level Experience: At least 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, and Minimum 2 years managing HK or overseas experience. preferably gained in sizable or listed companies; experiences with Big Four would be an advantage.
Hong Kong Regulatory Knowledge: Proficient in IFRS and HKFRS as well as Hong Kong regulatory requirements; capable of consolidation financial statements preparation, audit coordination, internal control management, cross-border treasury and tax matters.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Strong expertise in in financial modelling and business performance analysis; proficient in ERP and Power BI tools.
Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Must be a Hong Kong permanent resident or hold a valid Hong Kong work visa; occassionally overseas travel is required.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
