Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Accountant/Accountant to handle reporting and analysis functions for a global communications client. The role involves preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy/Finance and at least 3 years of experience, with strong Excel skills, English and Chinese proficiency, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' related working experience in a sizable firm.
• Hands-on financial reporting experience in a sizable company is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and reporting writing skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Hands-on in MS Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with various teams for the completion of financial reports and annual reports.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for a business unit.
• Reviews and enhances management reports and analysis.
• Prepare period end closing matters, such as schedules, ledgers, and control accounts reconciliation.
• Handle ad-hoc projects.
