Job summary

HR Plus is seeking a Finance Analyst/Accountant in Hong Kong to join the finance team of a listed communications technology company with over 1,000 employees. You will review business cases, analyze performance, and support investment analysis across the business and its regional operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop analytics tools for tracking, and prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for a business unit.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting or Business related disciplines.
• At least 3 years working experience, preferably with project evaluation, financial planning and analysis or related experience.
• Student member or member of professional Accounting bodies (e.g. ACCA, HKICPA).
• Detail-minded, able to handle data and conduct analysis independently.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, problem solving and report writing skills.
• Good command of MS Excel and Powerpoint.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Big 4 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review business cases and ensure investments are properly justified.
• Analyze actual performance against approved business cases for major investment projects.
• Develop analytics tools for regular tracking, analysis and data integration from various sources.
• Participate in business and financial system enhancement project.
• Liaise with various teams for the completion of financial reports, annual reports.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget for a business unit.
• Perform ad hoc projects or analysis as required.
