Job summary

HR Plus in Hong Kong is seeking a Finance Manager (Telecommunication) to lead a sizeable reporting team and oversee internal and external reporting, budgeting and forecasting for a global brand.

The successful candidate will drive financial analysis, support new business initiatives, ensure policy compliance, and liaise with auditors. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 8+ years of experience, strong leadership, English proficiency plus Cantonese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum with 8 years relevant working experience.
• Hands-on financial reporting experience in sizeable companies is an advantage.
• Independent, proactive with positive and hands-on attitude.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, possess good level of interpersonal skills to deal with people from different background.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Good command of written in English, fluent in Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and lead a sizeable and professional reporting team to handle internal and external reporting matters
• Work with business and functional units to achieve pre-defined business objective and management target
• Prepare periodic internal report annual budget and ad hoc financial reports that may required
• Provide valuable financial input for new businesses and transactions
• Ensure compliance of financial policy, general accounting standard as well as taxation policy
• Liaise with external auditors and other professional advisers directly
• Handle ad-hoc projects
