Job summary

Anglo-Eastern, a global leader in independent ship management, is seeking an accounting professional in Hong Kong with 3–5 years of experience. You will manage full-set accounting, intercompany activity, and month-end closing while delivering accurate management reporting.

The role involves collaboration across departments and leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline processes. You will assist in financial statement preparation and liaise with external auditors during year-end reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Good understanding of AP/AR processes is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with AI & automation tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting operations, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Contribute to month-end closing activities and prepare management reports.
• Provide support on daily accounting operations and coordinate with colleagues.
• Assist in leveraging automation tools and AI-enabled solutions to streamline processes.
• Provide ad hoc accounting and administrative support to the finance team.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and statutory accounts.
• Support liaising with external auditors during year-end reviews and audits.
