Job summary

Hong Kong Huaju Co., Limited is seeking a Finance Officer / Assistant Finance Manager to lead full-cycle accounting, tax compliance and audit coordination for a multinational industrial enterprise in Hong Kong. The role partners with operations to provide financial insights for projects and contracts.

The candidate should have 3+ years of accounting experience, be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and hold a degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience; Hong Kong corporate accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive with strong execution skills and sound risk mindset.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set / full-cycle accounting independently, including voucher entry, ledger maintenance, account reconciliation and AR/AP settlement, in compliance with HKFRS and internal policies.
• Manage month-end closing, prepare monthly financial statements and management analyses to support decisions.
• Handle profits tax, salaries tax and other tax filings, liaise with the IRD, banks, auditors and external parties for compliance.
• Support annual statutory audit by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring data reconciliation across finance and treasury.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to provide financial, tax and risk assessments for contracts and projects.

Finance Officer / Assistant Finance Manager responsible for full-set accounting, financial reporting, Hong Kong tax and compliance, audit coordination, and business partnering functions within a multinational industrial enterprise.

Key responsibilities

Handle full-set / full-cycle accounting independently, including voucher entry, ledger maintenance, account reconciliation and AR/AP settlement, in compliance with HKFRS and internal policies, to ensure accurate and complete financial records.

Manage the month-end closing process, prepare monthly financial statements and management analysis reports, and provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Handle profits tax, salaries tax and other tax filings and compliance matters. Liaise with the IRD, banks, auditors and other external parties to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Support the annual statutory audit by preparing audit schedules and documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Establish financial data review mechanisms to reconcile business, accounting and treasury data, and mitigate financial risks.

Work closely with internal operations teams to provide financial, tax and risk assessments for commercial contracts and business projects, and streamline finance-related operational workflows.
