Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited seeks a senior accounting professional to manage daily accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A across Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai. You will lead month-end closings, consolidation, budgeting, and variance analysis, partnering with trading teams to optimize cash flow.

The role requires a CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and 5+ years in accounting, with strong HKFRS/IFRS knowledge and ERP/Power Platform experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance with a professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in large corporates.
• Strong consolidation knowledge and HKFRS/IFRS standards.
• Experience in commodities trading or shipping/logistics is advantageous.
• ERP and Power Platform experience; automation mindset.
• Fluent in Chinese and English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A across HK, Singapore, and Dubai.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, GL reviews, and statutory consolidations per Group standards.
• Conduct budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses with commentary on margins and working capital.
• Monitor AR/AP and prepayments; coordinate with trading teams to optimize cash flow.
• Produce monthly performance packs, identify business risks and growth drivers.
• Support statutory audits, global tax filings, and cross-border transfer pricing compliance.
• Drive finance process improvements and ERP upgrade initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide actionable financial decision support.

• Manage daily accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A functions across regional trading entities in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, general ledger reviews, and statutory consolidations in compliance with Group accounting standards.

• Conduct detailed budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses, providing strategic commentary on margins, overheads, and working capital.

• Monitor AR/AP and prepayment balances, partnering with trading teams to track collection status and optimize cash flow.

• Produce monthly performance management packs, identifying key business risks, financial drivers, and growth opportunities.

• Support the Financial Controller with statutory audits, global tax filings, and cross-border transfer pricing compliance.

• Drive finance process improvements, internal control reviews, and ERP system upgrade initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide actionable financial decision support.

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline with a CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in sizable corporations.

• Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, HKFRS/IFRS standards, and international tax frameworks.

• Prior industry exposure in commodities trading or shipping/logistics is a distinct advantage.

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems or Power Platform tools.

• Proven track record in system enhancements, report design, and workflow automation.

• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.

• Highly analytical, mature, and independent, with exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
