Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare full-set accounts and statutory financial statements according to HKAS.
• Oversee daily financial operations and accounting processes.
• Lead preparation and submission of all HK tax filings including Profits Tax and Salaries Tax.
• Manage corporate banking activities, payments, transfers, reconciliations and treasury ops.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and authorities during annual audits and other matters.
• Supervise and mentor a small team, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Job Description

As an Assistant Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Prepare full-set accounts and statutory financial statements in accordance with Hong Kong Accounting Standards.
• Managing and overseeing daily financial operations and accounting processes.
• Lead the preparation and submission of all Hong Kong tax filings, including Profits Tax, Salaries Tax, and other statutory tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Manage corporate banking activities, including payment processing, fund transfers, bank reconciliations, expense reviews, and daily treasury operations.
• Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and corporate policies.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities, auditors, and external parties throughout the annual audit process and other compliance-related matters.
• Supervising and mentoring a small team.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience gained within Chinese/ stated-owned enterprises is highly preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
