Job summary

Solomon HR Solution Limited's client, a well-established manufacturing group with regional hubs in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, seeks a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager (Accounting & Operations) to lead regional accounting operations and treasury.

You will drive monthly closes, oversee GL, AP/AR, and internal controls, mentor regional finance managers, and partner with business leaders to transform finance processes and governance. Experience with SAP and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of accounting/finance experience with minimum 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance operations across regions, overseeing GL, AP, AR, expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and prepare reporting packages.
• Supervise cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, inter-company funding, banking relations, and treasury controls.
• Lead annual statutory audits, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal controls enhancements.
• Mentor regional finance managers and partner with leaders to transform finance operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve finance governance and efficiency.

Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Manager (Accounting & Operations)

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company with a strong international presence and multi-site production operations. Headquartered in the region with key operational hubs spanning in Hong Kong and South-East Asia.

To support this growth and ensure rigorous governance, the company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Manager to lead regional accounting operations, treasury management, transformation and work closely with the business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group's finance operations across multiple regions, overseeing General Ledger, AP, AR, operating expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review of accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages
• Supervise group-wide cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, inter-company fund allocation, banking relations, loan utilization, and treasury risk controls
• Serve as the primary lead for annual statutory audits, external auditor management, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal control enhancements
• Provide direct mentorship and direction to regional finance managers, acting as an operational bridge to ensure effective execution of finance activities
• Partner with business stakeholders and senior management to support the transformation of finance operations and improve efficiency, accuracy, and governance

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role with proven regional people leadership responsibilities
• Prior experience in manufacturing, OEM, ODM, or multi-site production environments is strongly preferred
• Hands-on expertise with ERP systems- specifically SAP, and advanced financial modeling in Excel is required
• Deep knowledge of AR, AP, financial reporting, treasury operations, audit management and internal controls
• Big 4 auditing background is highly advantageous
