Ambition in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting, including regulatory submissions and the management of treasury and cash flow for investment vehicles and affiliated entities.

The role requires 5+ years in asset management or regulated financial institutions, strong Mandarin and English, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications viewed favourably.
• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience in asset management or regulated financial institutions.
• Familiar with regulatory reporting and financial control in an SFC-regulated environment.
• Knowledge of fund structures and investment vehicles encouraged.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting, including FRR submissions.
• Ensure regulatory reporting compliance and monitoring of financial resources.
• Support accounting and reporting of investment vehicles, funds, and affiliates.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, and payments.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings and financial statement preparation with external service providers.
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.
