Job summary

CNCB (Hong Kong) Investment Limited is seeking a capable financial accountant to support its statutory financial statements, regulatory reporting, and audits. You will handle daily accounting tasks, assist in audits, and contribute to timely regulatory submissions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong HKFRS/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related majors; CPA, ACCA, HKICPA qualification is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting or reporting within banks, Hong Kong investment banks, securities firms, or other financial institutions.
• In-depth knowledge of HKFRS and IFRS, coupled with practical experience in financial asset accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in taxation is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels. A strong team player with a solid work ethic and the willingness to take on multiple functions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting the company’s statutory financial statements.
• Be responsible for the compilation, timely submission, and compliance management of various regulatory reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the full spectrum of daily financial accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures.
• Perform specialized accounting treatments for core business lines – such as loans, bonds, equities, fund management, banking products, and underwriting fees.
• Coordinate and support external and internal audits, annual report preparation and all other routine financial compliance activities.
• Support tax affairs, including tax calculations, tax filings and internal tax reviews.
• Undertake other ad-hoc financial tasks and special projects assigned by the management.
