Job summary

Hospital Authority invites applications for an Executive Assistant I (Finance) in the Hong Kong Island Cluster. The role supports financial operations, budget monitoring, reporting, and data analysis within the Finance Department.

The ideal candidate is a university graduate or diploma holder with relevant experience, proficient in English and Chinese, and skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• University graduates with working experience, or diploma with relevant experience and required HKCEE/HKDSE marks.
• 1 year of accounting/administration experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Flexible and capable of handling multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform checking on medical fee waiving / Samaritan Fund and CCF cases.
• Follow up checking progress and prepare case files for supervisor review.
• Assist in finance & accounting functions: resources planning & management, budget monitoring, and reporting.
• Support monthly financial projection, budget journals and database updates.
• Prepare correspondence and communicate with patients, user departments and staff.
• Compile statistics and assist in data analysis and management reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
