Job summary
Platinum Management Services Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the Finance Department operations, ensure accounting integrity and regulatory compliance. You will manage FRR processes, trust reconciliations and statutory reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timely closing.
The role requires 5+ years in finance within the securities or financial services sector, with professional qualifications preferred.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Economics, CPA/ACCA/CFA/PMP/CIMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in financial industry; FRR experience for Type 1 is a MUST.
- Experience in audit firms with securities brokerage auditing exposure is an advantage.
- Exposure in IPO process and HK listing rules would be an advantage.
- Dynamic, attentive to detail and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Immediately available / short notice period is highly preferred.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Finance Director.
Responsibilities

- Handle full set of accounts for SFC RAs Type 1, 4, 6, 9.
- Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare annual budget, forecast and cash flow projection.
- Handle daily client money reconciliation and fund segregation.
- Handle daily and monthly FRR.
- Handle stress test for share margin financing activities.
- Review banking facilities for management update.
- Liaise with auditors to carry out annual audit work.
- Supervise the work of subordinates. Familiar the SAP system is advantage.
- Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by Managing Director, Directors.
