Job summary

Asian Capital Limited invites applications for an Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Finance Officer to oversee day-to-day finance operations in Hong Kong, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and tax payments, and FRR reporting.

The role requires a university degree in accounting or finance, membership or progress toward HKICPA/ACCA/CPA, at least three years in commercial accounting, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial accounting or professional firms (preferably in financial services).
• Experience with MYOB or other accounting software.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Pro-active, well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and tax payments.
• Monitor bank transactions and cashflow.
• Prepare management accounts, forecasts and financial returns pursuant to FRR rules.
• Develop and implement internal HR & Admin policies.
• Assist in ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with preference for those being a member of HKICPA, CPA Australia, ACCA or equivalent, experience in licensed corporation is an advantage;
• Pro-active, well-organized, pleasant with outgoing personality and capable of managing multi-tasks and prioritizing work efficiently and effectively;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial accounting or in professional firms preferably in financial services field;
• Experience with MYOB or other accounting software;
• Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skill, proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; and
• Proficiency in IT skills.
