Job summary

Hooray Securities Limited, based in Sheung Wan, is seeking a capable accounting professional to support financial accounting and reporting for licensed entities.

The role covers full sets of accounts for Type 1, 6, and 9 firms, FRR reporting, and subsidiary financial statements, with exposure to HKEx and SFC requirements.

Candidates with 2 years of securities industry experience and CPA preferred will be considered for Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of securities firms, listed companies experience or relevant financial institutions.
• Knowledge in SFC Liquid Capital calculation and FRR is a MUST.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations independently for licensed corporations (Type 1, 6 & 9); full sets of accounts and monthly management accounts.
• Prepare daily & monthly FRR report.
• Prepare financial statements for subsidiaries within the Group.
• Assist in handling compliance functions of LC functions.
• Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required.

About the role

The Group operates a financial services business in HK and water-related business in the PRC. We are looking for a high-caliber candidate to join our accounting team. This role is integral to supporting the company’s financial accounting and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations independently for licensed corporations (Type 1, 6 & 9), including full sets of accounts, and monthly management accounts;

Prepare daily & monthly FRR report;

Prepare financial statements for subsidiaries within the Group;

Assist in handling compliance functions of LC functions;

Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirement

Degree holder or above in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines;

Minimum 2 years of securities firms, listed companies experience or relevant financial institutions;

Knowledge in SFC Liquid Capital calculation and FRR is aMUST;

Profound knowledge of FRR and SFC regulatory requirements, and HKEx regulations is essential;

CPA qualification is preferred but not a must;

Good command of English and Chinese in both written and spoken, Mandarin is a plus;

Occasionaltravel to PRC and overseas is required; and

Immediately available will be a definite advantage
