China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited seeks an Assistant Manager / Senior Officer in the Finance and Accounting Department to manage expense controls and budgeting processes across distribution channels.

The role involves reviewing expense approvals, ensuring compliance with policies, producing management reports, and developing dashboards that provide actionable insights for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of accounting or business analysis experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
• CPA qualification (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Candidates with less progressive experience may be considered for the Senior Officer position.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve expense appropriation requests across distribution channels.
• Examine expense reimbursement submissions for completeness, authenticity, and compliance; perform reasonableness analysis.
• Assist in annual budgets and monitor budget execution across departments.
• Produce high-quality management reports and develop dashboards for business insights.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to streamline expense review workflows and strengthen internal controls.
• Provide guidance on centralized procurement ensuring governance and compliance.
• Maintain books for the in-house broker entity and perform timely reconciliations; support ad-hoc accounting tasks.
