Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager in Expense Management within FP&A to bridge finance, performance and strategy. You will monitor expenses, support planning cycles and provide insights to management.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly reporting on expenses, assisting cost control, building reports and dashboards using SAP BPC and Power BI, and aiding the three-year plan and annual budget. Fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in finance or business.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in reporting, analysis and planning in the insurance business.
• Experience in expense management within FP&A is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Monitor KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis and oversee general expenses, working with business units to understand spending needs and improve cost control.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to identify drivers behind expense movements and provide insights for decision-making.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial management reporting focused on expenses in line with Group and internal requirements.
• Support monthly/quarterly financial closing.
• Prepare reports/dashboards for local and group reporting purposes.
• Use SAP BPC to ensure a proper level of accuracy in planning and reporting.
• Assist in developing and implementing the expense budget and strategic planning process.
• Collaborate with the manager to prepare the three-year strategic plan and the yearly budget.
• Coordinate the planning process and support discussions with internal departments and Regional Office.
• Streamline expense reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce manual work.
