Job summary

Primetech Technology Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Field Engineer to provide onsite support, installation and break/fix on PC desktops and laptops at client sites.

Relocation of desktop items, inventory updates, basic networking troubleshooting (LAN), and coordination with application teams for installations are core duties.

The role may require occasional weekend work to meet project timelines; training is provided, and fresh graduates with a good attitude are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• F.5 or above
• 1 year working experience on IT Services or Engineering would be advantageous
• Customer focused attitude and dedicated to problem solving
• Fresh graduates with good attitude will also be considered
• On-job training will be provided for less experienced candidates

Job Description:

• Provide onsite support, installation, break/fix on PC desktop & Laptop on customer site
• Relocation for desktop items and maintain the correct inventory record
• Support basic networking such as connectivity, LAN troubleshooting
• Participate IT projects such as office relocation and system upgrade as assigned by the Team Lead
• Coordinate the installation, configuration and troubleshooting with relevant application team for various applications
• May occasionally require working on weekend and public holiday to meet project timeline.
• Prepare service reports on support calls
