Contract IT & Telecom Support Trainee / Field Engineering Trainee #4724

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 17:30 / Saturday: 08:30 to 13:30 (alternate Saturday off)

Location:

• Able to perform on-site work across commercial project locations in Hong Kong.

Stand-by & Emergency Duties:

• Required to perform stand-by duty and round-the-clock emergency call-out works outside normal working hours when scheduled by management.

Overtime:

• May be required to perform scheduled or overtime work after normal working hours, including Sundays or Public Holidays, upon request (with overtime allowances)
• Structured training led by senior mentors to master PC, telecom, and cutting-edge tech (IoT/5G/SD-WAN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Deployment & Inspection: Support site rollouts, system upgrades, and routine inspections in compliance with strict safety and quality standards.
• PC & Hardware Maintenance: Provide on-site hardware maintenance and troubleshooting for Desktop PCs, Monitors, Printers (including component-level repair such as Fuser and Roller replacement), and peripherals.
• Windows & Software Administration: Handle hardware/software configuration, administration, provisioning, and diagnostics for Windows-based PCs using various testing tools.
• Telecom, Networking & Next-Gen Tech: Under the guidance of senior engineers, assist in the installation and support of enterprise telephone systems, 5G networks, SD-WAN solutions, IoT devices, and network infrastructure.
• Client Communication: Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and clients to deliver prompt on-site and remote technical support.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above (Higher Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines is an advantage
• Fresh graduates or candidates looking to pivot into the IT / Engineering industry with zero experience are welcome, as comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship will be provided.
• Strong interest in Computer Hardware, Windows OS, Networking Concepts, and Emerging Technologies (IoT, SD-WAN, 5G).
• Possession of or willingness to pursue Professional Certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCP, CCNA, or vendor certs like HP/Lenovo) is a strong plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure with good interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in Cantonese; English and Putonghua proficiency preferred).
