China Mobile International Limited is seeking a seasoned Operations & Maintenance Executive to lead data center infrastructure initiatives in Hong Kong. You will drive system construction, plan deployment, and ensure robust incident response across multi-site facilities.

The role requires deep expertise in data center architectures, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, and regulatory teams. English and Mandarin fluency is essential, Cantonese a plus.

• More than 7 years of experience in data center, IT infrastructure, network, transmission, server and related fields.
• Understanding data center infrastructure architecture or operation characteristics and performance indicators.
• Ability to manage risk and handle sudden faults, driving system optimization.
• Strong management, communication and coordination skills; budget/cost management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• System Construction: Formulate and optimize data center work specifications and guidelines; build an O&M management system.
• Plan Formulation: Develop departmental work plans aligned with deployment goals; prepare annual O&M and budget plans.
• O&M Plan Review: Supervise the operation and maintenance management system; implement infrastructure O&M, procedures, fault handling, drills and emergency plans.
• Quality Management: Hold regular operation quality meetings and analyze faults to minimize business impact; manage safety hazards.
• Business and Contract: Formulate procurement strategies, sign/manage annual contracts; liaise with EMSD/CLP/FSD and audits.
• Energy Conservation and Digitalization: Set energy efficiency targets and AI roadmaps; report performance, risks and needs.

• System Construction: Formulate and continuously optimize data center work specifications and guidelines in accordance with standards such as TCOS, and build a complete operation and maintenance management system.
• Plan Formulation: Develop the overall work plan of the department according to the operation and maintenance deployment goals and promote the implementation of the implementation plan; prepare the annual operation and maintenance plan and budget plan, and continuously track the execution status.
• Operation and Maintenance Plan Review: Supervise and guide the implementation of the operation and maintenance management system; implement the infrastructure operation and maintenance management system, work procedures, fault handling, emergency drills and emergency response plans; review the annual preventive maintenance plan, drill plan and personnel training plan; review all kinds of operation and maintenance change applications.
• Quality Management: Organize regular operation quality analysis meetings to continuously optimize the operation plan and operation mode; effectively respond to sudden faults to minimize the impact on the business; regularly count and analyze potential safety hazards and incorporate them into the early warning system for unified management.
• Business and Contract: Formulate annual procurement and contractor strategies, sign and manage annual contracts; liaise with government departments such as EMSD / CLP / FSD and handle customer audits to ensure continuous fulfillment of statutory and compliance obligations.
• Energy Conservation and Digitalization: Formulate company-level energy efficiency and carbon reduction targets and AI application roadmaps, and approve key transformation investments; cultivate the management echelon, and regularly report operation performance, risks and investment needs to the management.

Job Requirements

• More than 7 years of working experience in data center, IT infrastructure, network, transmission, server and other related fields; no specific professional background is limited, majors in electrical, HVAC, weak current, fire protection, network, transmission, server and other related fields are all acceptable.
• Understand the data center infrastructure architecture, or understand the operation characteristics and performance indicators of main systems; have in-depth accumulation in at least one professional field, and have the willingness and ability to quickly learn cross-professional knowledge and implement it.
• Have the ability of risk management and sudden fault handling, and can continuously promote system optimization and process improvement.
• Have good management, communication and coordination skills, can promote team cohesion; have experience in budget preparation and cost management (or equivalent project management experience).
• Candidates with relevant Uptime Institute certifications are preferred.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; fluent in Cantonese is a plus.
