Job summary

Bayou Talent seeks a Data Center Facility Manager/Engineer/Technician in Hong Kong to oversee daily operations and ensure high availability of electrical and mechanical systems. You will manage HVAC, power and cooling performance, lead maintenance teams, and coordinate with vendors.

The role requires a background in Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in facilities, and strong bilingual Chinese/English communication.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Solid experience in sizable facility maintenance, such as Generator, UPS, HVAC, Chiller, F/S, FM200.
• Data Centre industry relevant experience will be an advantage.
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A0 or above) will be an advantage.
• Less experience candidate will be considered as Facility Technician.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in facility management for sizable commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to oversee day-to-day operations of the data center. Ensure optimal performance of all facility systems (HVAC, power, cooling, etc.).
• Plan and resource allocation for preventive maintenance schedules.
• End-to-end vendor management including vendor selections, contracts and SLA negotiation and performance review, relationship management, etc.
• Plan and implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Develop and manage the facility budget, including operational and maintenance costs.

Data Center Facility Manager / Engineer / Technician (Electrical/ Mechanical)

Monitor and troubleshooting Electricity or HVAC facility in Data Center, ensure the high availability of E&M system

Handle and response emergency calls for incident

Manage contractors and technical staff for maintenance services

Perform Periodic Tests for facility equipment, inspection, fault diagnosis or emergency drills

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance

Prepare facility report, incident report and method statement

Create and update maintenance plans for facilities

Requirements

Higher Diploma or abovein Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
