Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to lead daily service within the Food & Beverage team, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

Based at the hotel in Central, you will supervise service, train staff, ensure standards, and maintain discipline while working with a talented team.

Requirements include 4+ years in F&B with 2+ years in supervision, fluency in English and Cantonese, and experience in a 5-star hotel; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Food & Beverage with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel is highly preferred.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Help with the training plans and carry out training sessions.
• Maintain staff discipline and cooperation.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division in Hong Kong, the Headwaiter/Headwaitress is responsible for supervising the daily operation and ensuring that the services provided are up to the hotel’s set standards. The Headwaiter/Headwaitress reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As F&B Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise the food products and services provided by the department
• Help with the training plans and carry out training sessions
• Maintain staff discipline and cooperation
• Inspect the cleanliness of all service equipment and side boards
• Prepare the duty roster for the service staff

As F&B Supervisor, we expect from you:

• At least 4 yearsof experiencein Food & Beverage andwith minimum 2 years experience at supervisory level. Experience in5-star hotel is highly preferred
• Computer literature including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
• Strong leadership an organizational skills and excellent communication skills
