Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. Based at our Hong Kong property, the Bartender will manage day-to-day bar operations and assist the Bar Manager, delivering warm hospitality and a memorable guest experience.

The role requires experience in F&B or hotel environments, excellent communication, and the ability to speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. A passion for service and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up the daily bar counter and ensure condiments for service.
• Greet guests professionally and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the bar and dining area.
• Polish silverware and glassware after machine cleaning.
• Deliver friendly, professional service to guests during service hours.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Division in Hong Kong, the Bartender is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar and to assists the Bar Manager.The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager.

As Bartender, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Set up the daily bar counter and ensure all condiments needed for food service during the day
• Meet and greet guest in a professional manner
• Serve all food and beverage items to guests during servicing hours with a helpful and professional attitude
• Polish all silverware and glassware after cleaned by the machine
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the restaurant

As Bartender, we expect from you:

• With relevant in F&B or hotel industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese communication
• Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry
