Qualifications

• MUST be proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese and English.
• MUST be strong in coding, e.g. Python or C++, without AI.
• Work experience of less than 15 years.
• Good knowledge of trading systems and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily execution of trades across Asia, Europe and the US.
• Trading various financial instruments via multiple platforms.
• Providing market news and data to Portfolio Managers.
• Performing pre- and post-trade compliance checks.
• Sourcing hard-to-borrow inventories and blocks.
• Collaborating with operations and compliance teams.

Skills

Experience in US or HK option trading

Job description

We are a leading hedge fund manager based in HK and investing in global technology. Our track records have been among the top-tier in the past 12 years. Due to expansion, we are now hiring an Execution Trader/ Trade Support (title depends on qualification/experience) to strengthen the trading team.

Responsibilities

• Daily execution of trades, covering Asia, Europe and the US (once every week on night shift from 9pm to 12am/1am);
• Trading cash equities, SWAPs, baskets, options, futures, etc. via low-touch, DMA, algo and high-touch;
• Providing market news/ data/ colour to PMs;
• Performing pre- and post-trade checks to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements;
• Sourcing hard‑to‑borrow inventories, blocks, etc.; and
• Working closely with operations, compliance and other teams to ensure smooth settlement and controls.
