Job summary

CloudAlpha Capital Management Limited, a leading hedge fund manager based in Hong Kong, is seeking an Execution Trader/Trade Support to join their expanding trading team. The role demands daily execution of trades across Asia, Europe, and the US, trading various instruments, and providing market insights to Portfolio Managers.

The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, specifically in Python or C++, be proficient in both Mandarin and Cantonese, and possess relevant trading experience. The position is suited for those who thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• MUST be proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese and English.
• MUST be strong in coding, e.g. Python or C++, without AI.
• Work experience of less than 15 years.
• Good knowledge of trading systems and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily execution of trades across Asia, Europe and the US.
• Trading various financial instruments via multiple platforms.
• Providing market news and data to Portfolio Managers.
• Performing pre- and post-trade compliance checks.
• Sourcing hard-to-borrow inventories and blocks.
• Collaborating with operations and compliance teams.

Skills

Proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese and English

Strong coding skills (Python or C++)

Knowledge of trading systems (Bloomberg, Enfusion, WIND)

Experience in US or HK option trading

Knowledge of risk tools (Arcana, Factset, Axioma, MSCI Barra)

Strong communication and inter-personal skills

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
