Job summary

One Small Step in Hong Kong is seeking an Event Assistant to turn party concepts into memorable celebrations. You will drive end-to-end execution for children's parties and private bookings, collaborate with the events team on themed environments, and ensure smooth on-site flow for guests and vendors.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong planning skills, fluent in English and Cantonese, and willing to work Friday–Sunday and public holidays. Competitive pay and staff meals are offered.

Your Role:

As our Event Assistant, you are the creative engine behind every celebration at One Small Step. While our team handles the big picture, you are on the front lines, turning concepts into reality. You are the hands-on force that ensures every party is polished, every theme comes to life, and every guest leaves with a smile. Your Role:

End-to-End Execution: Perform all event-related tasks, including preparation, execution, and wrap-up for children’s parties and private bookings, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Themed Environment Design: Assist the events team with decorations, including preparation, setup, and dismantling to create engaging and themed party environments.

Logistics & Flow: Help coordinate and manage on-site event logistics, such as guest check-ins, guiding attendees, and vendor coordination.

Operational Support: Provide general support to the events supervisor, including ad-hoc tasks like managing guest lists or handling basic administrative duties related to events.

Inventory & Asset Care: Oversee the inventory, organization, and maintenance of event supplies, such as decorations and event equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the next celebration.

8 Rest Days per Month: Scheduled between Mon-Thu

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 11:15 - 20:15

Friday & Saturdays : 11:30 - 21:30

Sunday & Holidays: 10:00 - 20:00
