Job summary

Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) is seeking a professional to join the Investment Operations team as an Investment Operations Manager in Hong Kong. The role covers end-to-end ETF operations, NAV calculations, audits, and regulatory reporting to support a growing asset management business.

You will work with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to ensure accurate trade settlements, efficient processes, and compliant daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience in custody or fund operations; ETF experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial markets.
• In-depth understanding of the ETF lifecycle, including creation/redemption and NAV calculation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ETF product operations including creation/redemption orders and timely settlements.
• Resolve trade matching and settlement issues with external counterparties.
• Oversee NAV calculations, PCF and IOPV calculations and update SOPs.
• Support audits, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
• Participate in new projects or fund launches and conduct UAT with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate requirements into system improvements.
• Streamline workflows to reduce risk and improve controls and efficiency.
