Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking an Asset Management Operations Vice President to lead daily fund operations, onboarding, and regulatory reporting for institutional clients. You will coordinate with custodians, fund managers, and internal teams to ensure accurate NAVs, settlements, and risk controls.

The role requires strong Excel skills, 4+ years in asset management ops, and SFC Type 9 eligibility; a dynamic, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in asset management operations.
• Experience with NAV oversight, settlement, reconciliations, and KYC onboarding.
• Knowledge of QFII and RQFII operations is highly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Eligible to be registered as a Type 9 Licensed Representative under the HK SFC.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fund operations and client onboarding processes including onboarding guidance and risk disclosure procedures.
• Review account opening documentation and open/maintain accounts with custodians.
• Provide daily operational support for QFII and RQFII accounts.
• Monitor fund performance, NAV review, and oversight of external fund managers.
• Oversee settlement activities and daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions.
• Prepare management, portfolio performance, and key control reports for senior management and head office.
• Perform trust reconciliations and maintain SPC-related records.
• Build strong relationships with custodians, trustees, fund administrators, legal advisors, and vendors.
• Support Product Team with fund-related reporting materials and deliverables.
• Prepare regulatory filings and compliance reporting.
• Participate in UAT and system enhancements prior to production rollout.
• Assist with new fund launches, process improvements, automation initiatives, and ad hoc projects.
