Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Front Office Project Specialist to support trading system enhancements for global equity markets and research workflows. You will gather requirements from front, middle and research users, translate them into BRD and UAT plans, and work with the development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong English and Cantonese, with Mandarin/Japanese as a plus, are desirable.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experiences with cash equity front office trading systems (OMS/EMS) and exchange connectivity.
• Knowledge of UL Bridge, Sybase, Excel, SQL, Linux and FIX Protocol is advantageous.
• Experience in Investment Banking or Securities Trading with equities operations is a plus.
• Strong communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese); Mandarin and Japanese are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Support Front Office Project Team to develop and implement trading solutions for global equity markets and research.
• Elicit requirements from front, middle office and research users and convert into BRD and UAT plan.
• Analyze business needs and propose high-level solutions for implementation.
• Coordinate with development on design and implementation and clarify requirements with users.
• Identify, report and escalate risks and issues to the project manager.
• Track and report business performance; analyze trends, gaps and opportunities.
• Assist testing team with test cases and validation.
• Coordinate UAT with users and bridge gaps between requirements and implementation.
• Report project status to PM and senior management to enable better decisions.
