Luxoft in Hong Kong seeks a Business Analyst to join a front-office Trading Technology team supporting Cash Equities across APAC markets. You will gather requirements, engage clients, and deliver low-latency solutions in collaboration with traders, exchanges and vendors.

The role focuses on translating business needs into functional tech and providing production support, incident triage, testing and deployments, with opportunities to develop automation scripts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Electronic Trading, cash equities or Capital Markets Technology.
• Excellent communication with sponsors, clients and third parties.
• Understanding of cash equities trading workflows.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms and market connectivity.
• Exposure to front-office trading environments.
• Knowledge of exchange infrastructure and trading technology.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join a front-office Trading Technology team supporting Cash Equities across APAC markets. This role combines business analysis, client engagement and technical support within a low-latency trading environment, working closely with clients, exchanges, vendors and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, delivering technology solutions, supporting electronic trading platforms and driving market connectivity initiatives.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong 5 years experience within Investment Banking, Electronic Trading, cash equities or Capital Markets Technology
• Excellent communication skills to interface with business sponsors, clients and third parties
• Good understanding of Cash Equities trading workflows.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms and market connectivity.
• Exposure to front-office trading environments.
• Knowledge of exchange infrastructure and trading technology.

Technical Skills

• Strong Python and Unix skills (especially Linux) including shell scripting
• Strong FIX messaging experience within an electronic trading capacity
• Familiar with broad areas of trading technology (including FPGA, low-latency networks, low-latency application development and exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG & OCG)
• Expertise in Equities Trading platforms and the Trading Life Cycle (Low-latency trading, co-location setup)
• Experience with systems across front, middle, and back office
• Application troubleshooting and production support

Business Analysis Skills

• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Process analysis and solution design
• Testing and implementation support
• Experience in low-latency trading environments.
• Knowledge of pre- and post-trade risk systems.Familiarity with vendor trading platforms and exchange connectivity solutions.

Preferred Skills
