CGWS China Great Wall Securities International is seeking an Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Execution Associate in Hong Kong. You will assist in executing and coordinating ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, placements, and other equity-linked financings.

You’ll participate in due diligence, prepare offering materials, pitchbooks and market research, and coordinate with legal advisers, sponsors and internal teams to ensure compliance and smooth execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• 2+ years of full-time transaction execution experience in ECM, investment banking or corporate finance in HK; 3–5 years preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for SFC Type 1 Dealing in Securities approval.
• Excellent written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese; able to communicate with multiple parties.
• Detail-oriented, organised with strong analytical, documentation and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the execution and coordination of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, placements, block trades, convertible bonds and other equity or equity-linked financing transactions.

2. Participate in due diligence and transaction documentation processes, including the preparation and review of prospectuses, A1 application documents and other offering materials. Coordinate with legal advisers, accountants, sponsors and internal compliance teams to support regulatory filings and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.

3. Prepare pitchbooks, investor presentations, roadshow materials and transaction-related presentations. Conduct market research, comparable company analysis and basic valuation analysis, and maintain transaction databases.

4. Assist in organizing roadshows, non-deal roadshows (NDRs) and investor marketing activities. Coordinate with issuer clients, the sales desk and investors, and compile investor feedback throughout the transaction process.

5. Support bookbuilding execution, order monitoring and syndication coordination for ECM transactions. Liaise with syndicate members, overall coordinators (CMIs), sponsors and other professional parties to facilitate transaction execution.

6. Monitor relevant HKEX Listing Rules, SFC requirements and market practices. Coordinate with internal compliance, legal and risk teams, as well as external professional advisers, to support transaction approvals and compliance procedures.

7. Monitor ECM market developments, IPO pipelines, investor sentiment and industry trends. Prepare periodic market updates, transaction summaries and internal reports.

8. Undertake other ad hoc duties and project-related assignments as required.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or other related disciplines.

2. At least 2years of full-time, hands-on transaction execution experience directly related to ECM, investment banking or corporate finance in the Hong Kong capital market. Candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

3. Must hold or be eligible to obtain approval as a representative for SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) regulated activity.

4. Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with the ability to prepare professional documents and communicate effectively with different transaction parties.

5. Detail-oriented, organised and responsible, with strong analytical, documentation, communication and coordination skills. Able to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work under tight transaction deadlines. Proactive, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

6. Candidates who can commence employment immediately or at short notice will be highly preferred.
