Job summary

SDIC Securities Corporate Finance (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Associate / Vice President for Equity Capital Markets to lead execution work, prepare high quality internal documents, and produce market updates and deal recaps.

You will assist in handling HK equity and equity-linked transactions, coordinate with sponsor teams, sales, research, and external parties, and manage investor communications and IPO marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years ECM or Equity Research experience.
• Strong knowledge of HK equity markets and IPO processes.
• Ability to manage IPO projects with minimal senior oversight.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute ECM transactions and prepare internal documents, market updates, and deal recaps.
• Assist in IPOs, secondary placements and syndication.
• Coordinate with Sponsor, Sales, Research, Settlements and external parties.
• Communicate with Stock Exchange and investors professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for ECM execution work, preparing high quality internal documents, market updates, deal recaps, pipeline updates, pitching proposals, IPO marketing strategy presentation materials, valuation analysis, sales memo, investor feedback summary, etc.

Assist in handling syndicate duties of HK equity and equity linked transactions, including IPOs, secondary placement and syndication;

Coordinate and manage communication with internal parties (such as Sponsor team, Sales, Research and Settlement, etc.) as well as external parties including other syndicate banks, legal counsel, potential investors and Stock Exchange in a professional manner;

Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline;

Minimum 5 years relevant ECM or Equity Research, experience with a reputable investment bank;

In-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong stock market, IPO processes, and equity transactions;

Able to complete an IPO project with minimal senior oversight;

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail;

Self-motivated, ability to work well both independently and in team setting, and able to work in fast paced environment;

Strong sense of responsibility and accountability;

Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is essential.
