Job summary

Rec-Engineering-Co-Ltd is seeking a site supervisor for Building Services/Electrical Engineering works at Lamma Power Station. The role involves assisting engineers in supervising construction activities and performing inspections, quality control, and safety checks at construction sites.

The candidate will also assist with testing and commissioning activities and provide support for various site administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience in E&M, lighting and Building Services projects.
• Experience with building services electrical engineering standards and codes of practice is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers in supervising construction/erection works for Building Services / Electrical Engineering systems at Lamma Power Station.
• Conduct goods receiving inspections, quality control inspections, safety inspections, and testing/commissioning at sites.
• Assist in site office administration tasks.

Job description

Job Duties:

• Assist Engineers in the supervision of construction / erection works for Building Services / Electrical Engineering systems at Lamma Power Station;
• Carry out goods receiving inspections, quality control inspections, safety inspections, and testing and commissioning at construction sites;
• Assist in various site office administration tasks.

Requirements:

• Certificate qualification or above in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines;
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in E&M, lighting and Building Services projects;
• Registered Electrical Worker (REW) of Grade A or above under the Electricity Ordinance preferred;
• Knowledge in relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Working on Saturday and Public Holiday may be required to meet project and site progress requirements. Time-off compensation will be arranged in lieu of the approved overtime working hours;
• Gratuity will be offered upon completion of the contract;
• Sea transportation between Lamma Power Station and Tsim Sha Tsui / Ap Lei Chau Pier will be provided at the Employer’s expense.

• Contract Period: 12-month contract with potential for renewal based on project needs and individual performance;
• Work Locations: Lamma Power Station;
• Working Hours: 08:45 - 17:50 (Mon - Fri).
