Job summary

CLP is seeking an experienced engineer to supervise Integrated Facilities Management activities in BPPS, ensuring safe, compliant work and achievement of KPIs. The role involves coordinating with civil contractors, NEC partners, and other stakeholders to manage budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with CLP safety rules, and knowledge of data analysis tools like Power BI.

Duties

Reporting to the Business Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise overall productivity and performance of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) activities in BPPS, ensuring works are carried out in a safe and professional manner, meeting statutory requirements, required engineering standards and Codes of Practice.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary work teams (IFM NEC partner, civil contractors and other Civil Asset Ownership Scheme stakeholders) to liaise work scopes and schedules on projects, preventive maintenance and defects works, in accordance with the budgeted target cost and KPIs in respective to relevant HSSEQ, services, partnering and innovations.
• Monitor overall asset management including budgeting, project governance and support ad-hoc site execution works that are civil or asset performance-related.
• Carry out continuous improvement works to ensure plant sustainability and reliability.
• Facilitate and coordinate the initiation and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or innovative ideas to improve effectiveness of O&M activities and business processes in power stations.

Requirements

• A recognized university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, plus at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Working experience in IFM and minor civil works will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with CLP Power Safety Rules, Engineering Standards, Codes of Practice, and relevant Statutory Regulations.
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI), the design and development of AI applications will be an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
